Leonard E. Clark

July 19, 1940 — December 26, 2005

HUBBARDSTON/GARDNER – Leonard E. Clark, 65, of 157 Sunrise Lane, Gardner, a life-long resident of Hubbardston, died at home on Monday, December 26, 2005, after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 23 years, Linda A. (Foster) Clark; three sons, Dr. Michael E. Clark of Vassalboro, Maine, Jeffrey M. Burns of Gardner and James E. Burns of Barre; a daughter, Susan C. Berlo of Hubbardston; and five grandsons. He was born in Gardner, son of Leonard W. and Mary (Sutela) Clark. He graduated Gardner High School in 1958 and the New England School of Accounting in Worcester.

Mr. Clark was an accountant for Shawmut Bank in Worcester for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. Recently he worked for Lusignen Security for 7 years as a supervisor at Abbott Labs in Worcester. He was a member of the Appalachian Hiking Club.

The funeral service for Mr. Clark will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 30, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Barre Road, Hubbardston. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, in the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
