Biography
WORCESTER - Lenore (Moss) Berkowitz passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Worcester.

Previously of Great Neck, NY, she was the beloved wife of the late Norman H. Berkowitz (d. 1980). Adored mother of Alan (Gran) Berkowitz, Randy (Norman) Hammer, Billie (Robert) Adler and Adam (Karen) Berkowitz; proud grandmother of Rachel, Nathan, Ali, Bobby, Sophia, Miriam, Natalie, Dean and Bryan. Loving sister of the late Miriam Werndorf and Esther Siegel. Remembered by treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

May her memory forever be a blessing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Gale Free Library, 23 Highland Street, Holden, MA 01520, or the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, 633 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Gutterman's, 8000 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, NY, followed by internment at Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn Road, Farmingdale, NY. Shiva will be observed at the Adler home on Tuesday, October 6 from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, October 7 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m
