RUTLAND - Lee M. (Goodyear) Harmon, 92, of 66 Paddock Road, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in her home after an illness.
Her husband of 63 years, Cyril J. Harmon, died in 1996. She leaves her daughter, Nancy A. Paddock and her husband Franklin of Rutland; her sister, Nancy Baker of Port Rexton, NFLD, Canada; seven grandchildren, Pam Paddock, Peter Paddock and his wife Dottie, Michael Paddock and his wife Pam, Paul Harmon and his wife Jackie, Gary Harmon and his wife Sherri, Cathy Hormann, Glen Harmon and his wife Wendy; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Her son, Robert P. Harmon, died in 1985, and her granddaughter, Patty Harmon, died in 1984. Two sisters, Gaye Pickett and Maude Hopkins both of Canada, predeceased her. Born in Lumsden, New Foundland, Canada, she was the daughter of Abram and Mary (Denty) Goodyear, and lived 13 years in Rutland. She also lived many years in Worcester County including Auburn.
The funeral service for Mrs. Harmon will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 30, in Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Central Street, Auburn. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
