Leah T. Berry

HOLDEN – Leah T. Berry, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 16, 2015. She was born in Worcester and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1997.

Leah was a fun loving person who loved to spend time with her daughter, family and friends. She enjoyed long walks, trips to the beach, cooking, baking for others and taking care of children. Leah worked for several area companies throughout the Worcester County area.

She leaves her daughter, Olivia C. Spokis of Worcester; her parents, Glenn A. and Teresa L. (DiCesare) Berry of Holden; her brother, Ryan A. Berry and his wife, Kristi of Shrewsbury; her grandparents, Claire T. (Bouchard) DiCesare of Holden and Loretta (Adamiak) Berry of Webster; three nephews, Ty, Blake and Cain; two nieces, Reese and Lili; her former husband, Nicholas M. Spokis and his wife Jodi of Worcester; aunts, uncles and cousins. Leah was predeceased by her grandfathers, Louis DiCesare and Harold Berry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Leah will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 21, with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Why Me, Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant St., Worcester, MA 01602.
