HOLDEN – Ann L. (Charbonneau) Lundquist, 81, of Phillips Road, died at home on Monday, September 28, 2009, after a brief illness.
Her husband of 41 years, Randolph E. Lundquist, died in 1997. She leaves two sons, Mark E. Lundquist and his wife Martha of Kingston, New Hampshire and Randy C. Lundquist and his wife Carla of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; two step-daughters, Elaine Heiss and her husband Thomas of Bloomington, Minnesota and Sally Jameson and her husband Jack of Oakham; three brothers, Ernest Charbonneau of Tarpon Spring, Florida, Howard Charbonneau of Clearwater, Florida and William Charbonneau of La Cresenta, California; a sister, E. Bernice Charbonneau of Holden; 12 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristina, Adam, Eric, Andrea, Michelle, Melissa, Shayna, Troy, Trent, Sherida and Spencer; and many nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Clarence and Joseph Charbonneau, and a sister, Irene Lemay predeceased her.
Ann was born in Holden, a daughter of Joseph A. and Edith E. (Johnson) Charbonneau. She was a lifelong resident of Holden and was a graduate of Holden High School. She worked as a teacher's aide in various Holden elementary schools, was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Holden and worked as church secretary for over 10 years. She was a member of the Friends of the Holden Council on Aging and managed the Meals-on-Wheels Program at the Holden Senior Center. She enjoyed crafts and all kinds of needlework.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Ann will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd, in the First Baptist Church of Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Holden, 1216 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520; or the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
