September 7, 1951 — September 1, 2016

HOLDEN - Lawrence F. "Larry" Vigeant, 64, passed away peacefully at home of pancreatic cancer on Thursday, September 1, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was born and raised in Worcester a son of Gloria (Mangenello) Maurais and the late Francis Vigeant. Upon his return, Larry began what would be a 29 year career with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, retiring in 2012 as a Sergeant. Larry loved to spend his free time gathered with family or enjoying the outdoors, Whether he was pedaling his bicycle over the roads of the Wachusett area, casting his fly fishing rod with one of his hand tied flies into a local stream, his favorite fishing spot in Rangeley, Maine or waiting for a tilt to pop on the ice, Larry was up for the challenge. His favorite sport was bow hunting, which he was quite accomplished at. He also enjoyed rooting on the local Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins. Larry and Pat loved to visit the beaches along the coast of Maine. He will be forever lovingly missed by his family and friends. He leaves his beloved wife, Patricia A.
