BROCKTON/PRINCETON – Brian K. Mahoney, 31, of Brockton, died unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
He was born in Worcester and raised in Princeton before moving to the South Shore in 1997. He graduated from Scituate High School in 1998 and attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence. He worked at various Stop & Shop Supermarkets as a Department Manager, most recently in Abington.
He leaves his daughter, Kaylyn Mahoney-Hickey of Kingston; his parents, Karen J. (Briggs) Mahoney of Princeton and Daniel F. Mahoney of Tierra Verde, FL; a brother, Jeffrey D. Mahoney of Medford; several aunts and uncles including Janice Briggs of Peabody, Christine Poole of Warren and Richard Briggs of Amesbury; and cousins and a niece. Brian was predeceased by his sister, Wendy.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 12th, in St. Francis Episcopal Church, 70 Highland St., Holden. Burial will be private in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
