Kenneth C. Wagner

March 18, 1929 — October 29, 2018

HOLDEN – Kenneth C. Wagner, 89, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester, after an illness. He was born in Holden, the son of Ralph W. and Stella L. (Swenson) Wagner and had lived most of his life in Holden.

He leaves his sister, Shirley L. Wagner of Holden; his brother, Ralph W. Wagner, Jr. of Orange; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including his niece, Kathy Rawson and her husband, Steven and his niece, Cynthia Wagner.

Ken was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a truck driver and general manager at Ralph W. Wagner and Son’s Inc. for many years before retiring in 1984. He was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holden, enjoyed working with his hands, nature and was an avid animal lover.

A private committal service was held at Grove Cemetery in Holden. Memorial donations may be made in Ken’s name to Holden Association of Fire Fighters, P.O. Box 90, Holden, MA 01520 or Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
