July 27, 1946 — January 23, 2018

WORCESTER/LYNN – Kenneth Jackson, 71, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester after an illness. He was born in Lynn, the son of the late Howard and Gladys E. (Cross) Jackson Stickney and had lived most of his life there before moving to Worcester thirteen years ago.He leaves his son, Christopher R. Jackson and his wife, Nicol of Salem; his daughter, Maureen A. Burke of Sterling; his long time companion and best friend, Jane E. Forsberg; his nine grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Ella, Nicolas Jackson, Ashley Tayler, Derick Jackson, James and Jessica Candilieri, Emma Burke and Christopher Jackson; his great grandson, Jaxson Candilieri; and his former wife, Roxanne J. (Mitchell) Jackson. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen A. Jackson-Candilieri and his grandson, Jacob Jackson.After graduating from Lynn Classical High School, Kenneth attended Northeastern University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for six years. He was an area representative and training specialist for seven years for LG Electronics. Previously, he owned and operated Carrier Services for over 30 years. He was a member of Chaffin Congregational Church in Holden and coached Lynn Shore Little League for 27 years and was a past president. Ken was a member and past president of Lynn Lions Club, president of Camp Lion, served as a Constable and worked on many political campaigns. His heart was dedicated to the Toys for Tots program, every year it was a big deal for him. Ken was a devoted and hardworking family man. A memorial service for Kenneth will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 2 p.m. in Chaffin Congregational Church, 155 Shrewsbury St., Holden, MA 01520. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chaffin Congregational Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
