CLINTON/STERLING – Kenneth P. Gallant, 82, passed away at home on Sunday, February 21, 2021 after an illness.
His loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy M. (Fontana) Gallant, passed away in 2002. He leaves his son, Kenneth P. Gallant, Jr. and his wife, Heidi of Sterling with whom he lived; his daughter, Michele Todino of Orange; his grandchildren, Kelly, Tyler and Danielle; his great-granddaughter, Kasey; his brothers, David, Jimmy and Steve Gallant; his sisters, Jackie Remy and Joyce Quintin; his buddy/nurse, Judy Corbett of Sterling; his longtime friend, Bob Lucci of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Robin Maddocks; his grandson, Kyle; his brother, Norman Gallant; and his sister, Nancy Cormier.
Ken was born in Fitchburg, the son of Edward and Yvette (Lee) Gallant and had lived most of his life in Clinton before moving to Sterling three years ago. He worked at James Monroe Corp. in Lancaster for several years before retiring. Previously, he worked at Reisner Corp. and Colonial Press, both in Clinton. Ken was an avid sports fan and enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards and was a member of Turner Hall in Clinton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24th in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, appropriate social distancing and wearing of a mask will be required. Funeral services for Ken are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
