PRINCETON – Kenneth “Weazel” E. Chestna, 49, of Main St., passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 29th, while vacationing with his family in New Hampshire.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon L. (White) Sullivan of Princeton, his 3 children, Joseph C. Gedman III of Princeton, Krystal L. Chestna and her partner Shaun Kinsman of Princeton, Keith E. Chestna of Worcester; and their mother, Nancy M. (Logan) Chestna of Worcester; his father, Ronald E. Chestna and his wife Julie of Myrtle Beach, SC; a stepbrother, Ronald Chestna, Jr. of Dracut; two stepsisters, Rebecca Abreau of Hudson, NH and Robin Ryan of Dracut; 4 grandchildren, Mikaila, Jaiden, Jordan, Jayce; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ken was born in Holden and attended Wachusett Regonal High School where he excelled athletically being a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. His favorite hobby was playing slow-pitch softball and coaching his 3 children, as well as being their biggest fan. In addition to his love for sports, Ken enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family and looked forward to his frequent lunch and shopping trips with his Aunts Janice and Becky. Ken will be remembered for his one-of-a-kind personality and sense of humor and the incredible bond he shared with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Connor Lane, Princeton.
