HOLDEN - Kenneth D. Ball passed away at home on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was 66. Born and raised in Holden, he was a son of Warren O. and Callista F. (Llewellyn) Ball.
Ken graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and later was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps for over four (4) years, mostly in the Washington D.C. area.
He leaves his sister, Margaret A. Weber of Marlborough, CT; his brothers Donald A. Ball of Worcester and Timothy E. Ball of Holden; 3 nieces and 3 nephews. He also leaves behind his long-time life partner, Susan H. Beaudry of Holden. He is predeceased by his brothers Richard W. Ball and Thomas J. Ball and his nephew Jonathan C. Ball.
He owned and operated KDBuilders for many years and was always thought of as an excellent carpenter. He played ice hockey for many years and often played on two (2) teams at once, while coaching a third. He enjoyed the game of golf, playing whenever and wherever he could.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ken's family from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Wednesday, February 1st at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St, Holden, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
