Kathy (Koslova) Weselovs

HOLDEN - Kathy (Koslova) Weselovs, 91, of Holden, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. Kathy was the wife of the late Kristaps Weselovs and is survived by her children, Nicholas Weselovs, Valentina Fox and Nellie Rudnick, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A Memorial service celebrating Kathy's life will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at The First Baptist Church of Holden, 1216 Main Street, Holden beginning at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in Kathy's name.

HOLDEN - Kathy (Koslova) Weselovs, 91, of Holden, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family and loved ones on January 26, 2018.  Her loving husband, Kristops Weselovs predeceased her.  Kathy is survived by her children, Nicholas Weselovs of Auburn, MA, Valentina Fox of Worcester, MA, and Nellie Rudnick of Chatham, MA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grand children; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Kathy was born January 28, 1926 in Ukraine and her husband, Kristops, was born in Latvia.  After World War II, in 1946, they moved to Austria where their son Nicholas and daughter Valentina were born.  Kristops moved his family to Argentina in 1949 where their youngest daughter Nellie was born. The Weselovs again moved their family to the United States in 1960, first to Worcester, then eventually settling in Holden, MA.  Kathy and her husband worked very hard in this country to make a better life for their family. A memorial service will be held by the family in the spring with a date to be announced. Donations in Kathy’s name may be made to the local animal shelter of one’s choosing. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is assisting the family with arrangements.
