HOLDEN - Kathy A. (Dunker) Martinelli, 61, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday night, August 18, 2019.
Kathy leaves her daughter, Linzy Taylor; her brother, Kenneth L. Dunker and his wife Maureen; four grandchildren, Rachel, Lucas, Joanna and Harrison; her niece, Erin G. Lewis and her husband, Mark; and grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Kathy was born in Worcester, the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy (Latour) Dunker and grew up in Holden. She was a Girl Scout up to cadet. Kathy attended Wachusett High School; Class of ’76. She raised her daughter and grandaughter in West Boylston before moving to Holden where she spent the rest of her life. She was a licensed hairdresser, and auto repair appraiser. She enjoyed watching Court TV, and Al Pacino’s films. She wrote a screenplay many years ago, and had big dreams of having her story told. Kathy had the biggest heart, and leaves behind many friends that she loved so dearly.
There will be no funeral services, per Kathy’s request. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of her grandson Lucas Thor Kelley to the Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place – West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
