She is survived by her husband, Ajeet Jai Singh and their three children, Asha, Maya, and Rishi Singh. Kathy was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 2, 1957 to Loyal S. and Ruth Laverne (Watson) Suter. Kathy was an intrepid spirit from a young age and held a passion for swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, dirt bike riding, and traveling. In her early twenties she backpacked around Europe, the Middle East, and northeast Africa. She lived on a kibbutz on the Sinai picking and packing melons. She floated down the Nile and spent time in Morocco. She lived and worked in Alaska. She received a BA and MBA from the University of Memphis. It was at this time she met Ajeet, a medical student at the University of Tennessee. The two were married and moved to Worcester where Ajeet pursued a residency at UMass Memorial Hospital. They moved to Sterling to raise their three children. Kathy was a former member of the Wachusett School Committee and the Board of Trustees of Francis W. Parker Charter School. Kathy worked as a Project Manager at Astellas Pharma US, Inc in Marlborough where she served a pivotal role in advancing their clinical trials. She loved her job and her coworkers. Most of all she had tremendous love and passion for her three children and her husband and loved life and lived it to the fullest.
