Katherine ''Kay'' L. (Morrill) Ahlstrom

RUTLAND - Katherine “Kay” L. (Morrill) Ahlstrom, 92, of 106 Main Street, died Friday, November 5, 2004, in The Meadows of Leicester.
Her husband of 38 years, Gustaf Ahlstrom, died in 1980. She leaves many nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nephews and great-nieces. A brother, Frederick E. Morrill, and two sisters, Freda C. Alexander and Marie Paddock, predeceased her. She was born in Shrewsbury the daughter of Walter and Susan (McGugin) Morrill.
Kay lived in East Haven, Connecticut, for many years before moving to Rutland. She worked for the Sperry & Barnes Company in New Haven, CT. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Rutland. Kay’s greatest joy was her family.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, at the Rural Cemetery, 142 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, P.O. Box 939, Rutland, MA 01543. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
