RUTLAND – Kassandra L. Caceres, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from injuries sustained from a fall at Dorr Mountain.
She leaves her parents, Pablo and Kelly (Stymiest) Caceres of Rutland; her sister, Cynthia Fiorito and her husband, Jason of Greenwich, CT; her grandmothers, Marian Simeone of Barre and Nelly (Beraun) Caceres of White Plains, NY; her grandfather, Wayne Stymiest and his wife, Francine of Grandbay Westfield, N.B., Canada; her uncles, Michael Stymiest and his wife, Chris of Barre, Anthony Stymiest and his wife, Terri of Leominster, Kevin Stymiest and his companion, Traci of Oakham, Danny Doiron and his wife Lori of Grandbay Westfield, N.B., Canada; Eddie Caceres and his wife Soledad of Lima Peru, Carlos Caceres, Luis Caceres, Jorge Caceres, Jose Caceres and his wife, Julia, all of White Plains, NY, Cesar Caceres of Port Chester, NY; her beloved niece, Mia Fiorito; her beloved nephew, Louis Fiorito; and many cousins worldwide. She also leaves her dogs Piggy and Taco.
Kassandra was smart, artistic, caring, adventurous, free spirited and she loved the outdoors. Her laughter was contagious, and she enjoyed joking around. She loved animals of all types from her tarantulas Uma, Juno and Chewy to her chickens and her dogs. Kassandra had a deep interest in different species of plants and mushrooms. She enjoyed photography, rock collecting and driving her monster truck big red (standard shift only!!). When she wasn’t enjoying the great outdoors, Kassandra was an auto mechanic/service writer for several years in the Worcester area. She will be fondly remembered for many things, especially her love of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 28th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, appropriate social distancing and wearing of a mask will be required. A private funeral service for Kassandra will be held at the convenience of the family.
