HOLDEN - Kaladevi G. Manek, 78, of Holden, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Kaladevi was born in India on June 22nd, 1945, to Suresh Ratan and Radha Bai Ratan and was one of five children.
In her youth she was an avid business woman. At the age of 22, she got married to Govind Kumar Manek. The couple was blessed with children Kiran G. Manek of India, Meena Honcharik of Holden, MA and Hitesh G. Manek of Montgomery, NJ
She was a caring mother in law of Alex, Carol and Minal and doting grandmother of Natasha, Shawn, Carina, Ekta, Miloni and Utsav.
She was passionate about cooking delicious food and sharing with everyone around her. She truly loved connecting and building relationships with people of all walks of life and spreading joy. She loved her family immensely and celebrated all festivals and occasions with family and friends.
Her legacy of caring for others will forever live on.
A private family wake was held at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, on May 16, 2024, followed by a private cremation on May 17, 2024 at Rural Cemetery and Crematory in Worcester.
