PRINCETON - Juma Daud Nyakako passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
He grew up in New York, and spent most of his youth in Massachusetts. Juma was musically gifted and enjoyed playing the saxophone, drums, and piano. He was a lover of sports, excelling in both baseball and basketball. He had a vibrant personality and was able to make us all laugh, cry, dance, and everything in between.
He studied at Worcester State University and Hofstra University, where he graduated with a degree in Economics. Juma worked with Brown and Brothers as a Financial Analyst and had long-term goals to become an investment banker.
Juma is survived by his parents, siblings and extended family who miss him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Juma’s family from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 22nd at the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to The Black Mental Health Alliance online at
