PRINCETON - Julia Dawn Hart, 61, beloved wife of Thomas Tinory and loving mother of Jared Tinory, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Born in Cambridge, MA and raised in Bridgewater, NJ, she is the daughter of Nathan H. and Jean C. (Krauss) Hart.
After graduating from Bridgewater-Raritan High School, Julia went on to further her education. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 from Purdue University with a major in Microbiology and went on to earn her Law Degree from Albany Law School cum laude. Julia was a member of the bar in Illinois, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. She practiced law in Chicago Illinois, Westport Connecticut, as well as Massachusetts where she was employed by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Julia had many passions, among them was her love for the ocean. While attending a scuba club meeting in Boston, Julia met her future husband, Tom. They were married on October 8th, 1995, and settled in Princeton in 1997 where together they raised their son, Jared.
Those who knew Julia best will remember her love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats. She also enjoyed gardening, hiking, photography, traveling, boating, and spending time researching and acquiring collectibles. Horse brasses and antique oil lamps were among her favorites.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her devoted husband of 27 years, Tom and their son, Jared Tinory of Princeton; her parents, Nathan, and Jean Hart of NJ; her brother, Nathan Hart and his wife, Debbie of NJ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends from MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME, NY, NJ, MD, TX, and CA.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with her family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26th at the First Congregational Church of Princeton, 14 Mountain Road, Princeton. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Mirick Road, Princeton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worcester Interfaith Hospitality Network
