Judy Armen

HOLDEN - Judy Clark Armen, age 73, of Holden, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2021, after a brief illness.

Born on March 23, 1948 in Worcester, to Mary and Walter Clark, Judy received two Masters Degrees at Assumption College. She was a beloved Spanish and French teacher at Doherty High School in Worcester for many years. With the help of her students, Judy authored the Spanish textbooks “Abriendo puertas."

She loved all animals with a passion, especially “her” horses, and she cherished her time at the barn with her friends. An avid tennis player, Judy happily scheduled and coordinated matches among her friends at Paxton Tennis Club.

With a big smile and a hug for everyone she met, Judy always had a funny story to tell. Val’s Restaurant, in Holden, was her favorite spot for lunch with her friends and her beloved McCarthy cousins.

Judy is survived by her sister, Joan Clark Ankner; her brother Billy Clark; her nephew and Godson Ryan Ankner; her nephew Robby Ankner and his wife, Ashley Knight Ankner; her niece Kathryn Chamblain and her husband, Stern Chamblain, and their son, Caden Chamblain. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Stacey Armen.
