WORCESTER/NORWOOD – Judith W. Nelson, 78, longtime resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester. Born in Winchester and raised in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Arrowsmith) Nelson.
Judy was a member of the United Church of Norwood and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was employed by the Norwood Hospital and worked in the cafeteria for several years.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her niece, Tracey Nelson-McCaie and her sister-in-law, Virginia Tinkham. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her brother, Bruce A. Nelson.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Church of Norwood, 595 Washington Street, Norwood, MA 02062. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
