WORCESTER – Mary J. (Piergallini) Rabidou, 83, formerly of Burncoat St., died peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2011 in UMass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus, Worcester. Her husband of 33 years, George O. Rabidou died in 1993.
Mary was born in Worcester to Italian immigrants, Antonio and Josephine (DiCicco) Piergallini, and lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and was a secretary for over 30 years at Worcester Central Catholic High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Saint Ann Parish.
She leaves her son, Steven A. Rabidou, formerly of Rutland, and his fiancée, Lorraine of Bellingham; a brother, Querino Piergallini of Worcester; and two grandchildren, Jennifer and John Rabidou, both of Rutland.
Friends are invited to gather with the family at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, before leaving in procession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester, for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th floor, Boston, MA 02210.
