WORCESTER - Joyce (Mallen) Cotton, age 91 died on Sunday, October 17th in Newbridge on the Charles in Dedham.
She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Cotton. She leaves three sons, Barry Cotton and his wife, Wendy of Newton, Jeff Cotton and his wife Beth of Needham, Donald Cotton and his wife, Sue of Needham, a daughter, Betsy wife of Rob Gilman of Hull, a daughter in law, Gretchen Cotton of Shrewsbury,13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Billy Cotton.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Phillip and Bertha (Hartz) Mallen and had lived many years in Needham, Boynton Beach, FL and in Framingham.
She was proud of accomplishing her Bat Mitzvah at Temple Emanuel in Newton three years ago at the age of 88.
Private graveside funeral services will be held in B'Nai Brith Cemetery in Worcester under the care of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
