HUBBARDSTON – Joslyn Miriam Gachuna, infant daughter of Edward and Theresa (Bruneau) Gachuna, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester.
Besides her parents, she leaves her paternal grandparents, Nahashon and Miriam Gachuna of Nairobi, Kenya; maternal grandparents, Lillian Bruneau of Worcester and Joseph Bruneau of Holden; paternal great-grandmother, Priscilla Thuo of Kenya; maternal great-grandmother, Stacia Kasavich of Holden; four aunts, Susan Bruneau of NH, Bonnie Bruneau of ME, Risper Gachuna of Kenya and Rachel Gachuna of South Africa; two uncles; Elias and Boniface Gachuna both of Kenya; and many other close relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation, Newborn Intensive Care Fund, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
