Josephine M. (Eckert) Warren

STERLING – Josephine M. (Eckert) Warren, 92, a lifelong resident of Sterling, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nurse Center after an illness.
Her loving husband of 61 years, Alexander A. Warren, passed away in 2002. She leaves two sons, Alexander “Tony” A. Warren, Jr. and his wife, Linda and Robert F. Warren and his wife, Linette, all of Sterling; four grandchildren, Cynthia, Patricia, Amy and Todd; two great-grandchildren, Brady and Danica; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley, Walter and Leon Warren and a great grandson, Blake A. Warren.
Josephine was born in Sterling, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Sushchyk) Eckert and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
