WORCESTER - Joseph “Papa” A. Oliveri, of Worcester, died at home on Friday, August 17, 2007 in the presence of his loving family.
His wife, Pauline (DiBenedetto) Oliveri, a granddaughter, Jennifer Bloom, and a sister, Comille I. Carlson, predeceased him. He leaves his son, Joseph P. Oliveri of Worcester; his daughter, Joanie Holm and her husband Gerry of Rutland; a brother Ralph Oliveri of Worcester; two sisters, Antoinette Frietsch and Angie Dipietro both of Worcester; a grandson, Michael of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Joe operated Worcester Molded Plastic Co. in Worcester and Foam Concepts in Uxbridge, before semi-retiring as a consultant. He will be missed not only for his great story telling, but also as a loving and compassionate father, uncle, friend, and the best Papa to everyone.
A graveside service for Joe was held on Tuesday, August 21st, at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In loving memory of Jennifer, his granddaughter, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 North Main Street, Suite 104, Natick, MA 01760.
