RUTLAND - Jon P. Jumonville, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness. He was born in Holden, the son of Jean J. and Helen T. (Nordstrom) Jumonville, and had lived in Holden but most recently Rutland.
He leaves his son, Jay P. Jumonville and his wife, Christine of Holden; his daughters, Rene J. Paulson and her husband, Justin Paulson of San Francisco, and Lisa M. Cullity and her husband, Bill of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Jake Jumonville and Louis Paulson; his brothers, Jean J. Jumonville, Jr. of Dade City, FL, and James M. Jumonville of Marlborough; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Lynda J. Hall.
After graduating from high school, Jon enlisted and served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army. He returned home and worked for nearly 30 years at Norton Company in Worcester before retiring in 2002.
Jon most enjoyed spending time with those close to him especially his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jon's family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 30th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
