John R. Winslow

WEST BOYLSTON – John R. Winslow, 80, of Maple St., died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Born in Boston, John was the son of Samuel E. and Winifred (Sugrue) Winslow and lived many years in West Boylston.
John graduated from North High School in Worcester and worked for Alpha Analytical, Westborough. Previously, he co-owned Greenmeadow Lodge in Sterling and Search Consultants in Worcester. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was a member of the Simon W. Robinson Lodge of Masons in Lexington.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at Rural Cemetery in Worcester. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden is directing arrangements.
