He was in the process of joining the Marines. While in high school, he remained active in sports and played varsity football and baseball.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and riding dirt bikes with his dad and Uncle Jeff, and was a man of many friends. John’s true nature was one of loyalty and compassion and was considered a virtuous young man by those who met him. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends, and will leave a legacy and lasting memory of what it means to be a great person. His contagious smile and engaging personality will be forever embedded in our hearts.
