John P. Daley

WORCESTER – John P. Daley, 41, of 5 Vesper Street, died suddenly of a heart attack at home on Friday, June 3, 2005.

He leaves his parents, James and Beth (Roberts) Daley, of Worcester; four brothers, Michael E. Daley and his wife June of Marston Mills, James P. Daley and his wife Karen of Sacramento, California, Mark S. Daley and his wife Julie Chang of Brookline and David B. Daley and his wife Patricia of Brooklyn, Connecticut; two sisters, Patricia A. Tupaj and her husband Randall of Thompson, Connecticut and Colleen M. Azzarello and her husband Anthony of Stoneham; eight nieces and a nephew. He was born in Fall River and lived most of his life in Worcester.

John graduated from Doherty Memorial High School in 1981 and from Worcester State College in 1985. He was a certified public accountant and Vice President of Financial Advisory Associates, Inc. He was also the Town Accountant for the Town of West Boylston and as a CPA, he worked as a software tax accountant for local companies. He was previously the controller at Good As Gold Coffee Co. in Worcester. John was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf at Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina. He was a sports enthusiast and held season tickets for the New England Patriots.

The funeral Mass for John will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, in Christ The King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
