John J. Martin

Holden - John Martin, 96, of Flagler Drive in Holden, passed on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Brockton VA Hospital, Brockton, MA.

"Jack" was born in Worcester, the son of Matthew and Ann Martin. He graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester, after pursuing two years in the US Navy during World War II.

He leaves his two daughters, Rosamond and Christine Martin; two grandsons, Michael Perro and his wife Amy of Spencer, and Jason Perro and his wife Melissa of Leicester; four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Meagan, Thomas, and Michael Perro. His wife of 61 years, Rosamond, predeceased him in 2008.

Jack was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Jack touched many lives and hearts of those who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
