John Paul Borci

HOLDEN – John P. Borci, 81, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after an illness. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late John J. and Vera M. (Carbone) Borci and had lived most of his life in Worcester before moving to Holden.
John leaves his wife of 53 years, Carol A. (McLaughlin) Borci; his sons, Todd Borci and his wife, Heather and Adam Borci; his sister, Elizabeth Borci; and his grandchildren, Colin and Kaitlin.
He served in the Army Reserves as a medic with the 373rd General Hospital until 1969. John was a science teacher for the Worcester Public School system for over 30 years retiring in 2002. John’s family regularly encounter former students that thoroughly enjoyed his classes despite his strict grading policies.
At John’s request, funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306 (t2t.org).
