Biography
HUDSON /HOLDEN -- John "Bo" Armstrong, Jr., 85, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2016 at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough. Born and raised in Holden, Bo was the son of John and Mary (Nolan) Armstrong and lived the last 36 years in Hudson. He leaves a brother, Ronald Armstrong of Jefferson; a sister, Joan Ethier of Spencer; several nephews and nieces; and his companion, Florence Sneeden of Marlborough. Bo is predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Roger Armstrong and two sisters, Katherine Parker and Jeanette Winslow. Bo attended Holden schools and worked many years for Bekins Van Lines in Fitchburg. After his retirement, John went to work for Hudson Locke Company in Hudson. He was a member of the Hudson-Concord Elks Lodge in Hudson. Bo's family would like to express their appreciation to Jack and Dottie Parker for their longtime care, kindness and love they expressed to Bo. A graveside service will be held privately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Leicester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Amvets, Hudson, 5 South Street, Hudson, MA, 01749.
