HOLDEN – John A. Andriski, 52, of 183 Holden Street, died Monday, January 26, 2004, in his home after a long illness.
He leaves his mother, Antoinette (Cattel) Andriski of West Boylston; a brother, Stanley E. and his wife Susan Andriski of Petersham; a sister, Angela A. and her husband James A. Tauras of Tolland, Connecticut; two aunts, Elena Crotty and Antoinette Andriski; two uncles, Charles Cattel and John Andriski; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born in Clinton, son of Stanley E. Andriski. He graduated Assumption Preparatory School and earned his Master’s degree in math and computer science from Worcester State College.
Mr. Andriski worked for H & R Block and previously worked for Oakdale Rehababilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. He was a life long member of the Boy Scouts of America. John was the recipient of a Kidney Transplant and his family is grateful to the donor’s family who overcame their grief and were able to give new life to their fellow man.
Mr. Andriski’s funeral will be held Friday, January 30, 2004, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street, West Boylston. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, 32 Church Street, West Boylston, in the spring. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2004, in the funeral home.
