Joan T. (Comiso) Eucker

PRINCETON - Joan T. (Comiso) Eucker of Princeton died on Friday, January 4, 2013. She was born September 21, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of Josephine T. (Stearns) and Philip D. Comiso.
Joan leaves behind her two daughters, Merillyn Chicknavorian and husband, Martin, of Fitchburg, MA and Luanne Muzzy and husband, Joseph, of Warwick, MA. The light of her life were her grandchildren, Stephen, Robert and Angie Muzzy. She adored her two great-grandsons, Silas and Rowan Muzzy. She leaves behind her beloved sister, Susan Marciniak and husband, Joseph, and beloved brother, Robert Comiso, all of Ridgefield Park, NJ along with her niece, Jennifer Ferry and nephew, Jeffrey Marciniak, special cousin, Betty Ann, and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and beloved step-mother, Lauretta Comiso.
It was Joan’s wish to have a quiet and simple farewell with immediate family and close friends.
A private graveside service will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Donations in Joan’s memory can be made to The Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086, or any charity that supports Veterans who were near and dear to her heart. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
