Jessica Renee Johnston

HUBBARDSTON – Jessica Renee Johnston, 31, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was born in Hickory, NC, the loving daughter of Jay R. and Michelle D. (Malo) Johnston and had lived most of her life in Hubbardston.
Besides her parents, Jessica leaves her sisters, Shannon Castillo her husband, Ernesto L. of Holden and Melissa Walsh her husband, Eric of Westminster; her fiancé, Paul C. Stagnone, Jr. of Hubbardston; her grandparents, Doris Johnston of Worcester and Ernest and Norma Malo of Holden; three nieces, Marisa, Abigail and Alice; two nephews, Cole and Logan; and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Everett Johnston. Jessica is now safely in Heaven with her cousin, Rebecca Doane.
Jessica graduated from Quabbin Regional High School and attended Rob Roy Academy in Worcester. She was a hairdresser for ten years at Rob Roy in Gardner, was a nanny for her niece and most recently was a caretaker for her grandmother. She was a member of 4-H and the Hubbardston Community Theater. Jessica was a loving and caring person who loved to spend time with her family, driving around on her dad’s equipment, the camp and doing people’s hair. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, her fiancé and countless others.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A celebration of life for Jessica will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, in the funeral home. A private committal service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Hubbardston.
