Jessica A. Golen

PAXTON – Jessica A. Golen, 37, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 17, 2017 after an illness.  She was a daughter of Ruth (Osgood) and Richard Davis of Paxton and Jared Golen of Centerville.  Jessica was a lifelong resident of Paxton and a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School.  Jessica’s greatest pleasure came from spending time with Sunny, her son, especially in the activities he enjoys, like fishing, skateboarding, or camping. Sunny was her Sunshine.   Jessica loved anything to do with nature and saw beauty in even the small things.  Throughout her short life, Jessica was incredibly creative and loved to paint and do crafts, turning ordinary objects into extraordinary art.  In her senior year at Wachusett Regional HS she received the golden key award from the Massachusetts Art Education Association for one of her paintings. She will be forever missed and remembered by her son, Sunny Paladino of Paxton; her mother and step-father, Ruth and Richard Davis of Paxton; her father, Jared Golen of Centerville; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Osgood of Shrewsbury; a sister, Lisa Gregoire and her husband, Steve of Southbridge; two brothers, Jonathan Golen and his wife, Katrina of Worcester; Nicholas Golen and his wife, Evelyn of Paxton; and her extended family including Christopher and Michael Davis of Paxton, Adam Davis of Worcester, Sarah Cassell and her husband, Matt of Holden; Samantha and Robert Ryan of New Bedford, as well as uncle Peter Osgood and his wife Elaine of Westboro; uncle Mat Marston of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.  Jessica was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Norman Osgood and her aunt Terry Marston of Worcester.
