Jeri E. (Howard) Rayworth

December 25, 1947 — September 11, 2013

HOLDEN/NORTH ANSON, ME – Jeri E. (Howard) Rayworth, 65, died in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Jeri was born in Concord, NH, the daughter of Earland E. and Raelene (Coburn) Howard and lived in NH, Holden, and the last two years in North Anson, ME.

She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Rayworth and his wife, Beth of Clinton and Adam Rayworth of Sterling; her sister, Gail R. Churchill and her husband, Neal of Barre; her five brothers, Dana C. Howard of Winchendon, Neal J. Howard and his wife, Carol of West Boylston, Greg W. Howard of Agawam, Mark E. Howard and his wife, Judi of Anson, ME and Milo R. Howard and his wife, Paula of West Boylston; two adoring grandchildren, Skylar and Brendan Rayworth of Clinton and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Jeri grew up in Holden and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. She held several jobs including working for Seven Hills Home Health Care in Worcester, and most recently working for CMAA Auto Auction Co. in Oxford where she retired in 2010. Jeri was most proud of her 18 years volunteering for the Mountain Soccer Club in Sterling. She cherished her grandchildren and spending time with family was her greatest joy. Jeri had a passion for helping others and will be remembered for her kind and loving nature.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 16, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hitchcock Foundation (fund 6-H3026) to Dartmouth Hitchcock Development Office, Attn: Richard Peck, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756-0001 in memory of Jeri Rayworth, to support research in pancreatic education and research.
