HOLDEN – Jennie (Leslie) Ratliff, 92, formerly of Ronceverte, West Virginia, died April 22, 2004 in Holden, after an illness.
She leaves a son, Fred L. Ratliff and his wife, Martha of Rutland; three grandchildren, Dr. Kristin Ratliff of Weymouth, Karla Rasche and her husband, Hal of Paducah, KY, and David Ratliff of Bronx, NY. Three brothers and six sisters predeceased her. She was born in Glen Wilton, irginia, the daughter of Jason and Julia A. (Jones) Leslie, and was raised in Ronceverte.
Mrs. Ratliff worked for Gulton Indutries in Metuchen, New Jersey for over 20 years. She was proud of her southern heritage and loved her home state of West Virginia. She enjoyed various crafts including quilting.
The funeral service for Mrs. Ratliff will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 28, in Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, 502 Monroe Street, Ronceverte, West Virginia. Burial will follow in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, West Virginia.
