Jeannine T. Reid

Leominster - Jeannine T. (Tourigny) Reid, 94, died peacefully at home on Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Homer and Evelyn (LaRose) Tourigny and graduated from Worcester Girl's Trade School. She retired in 1985 after working for Norton Co. for 23 years. Her late beloved husband, George M. Reid, passed away in 2010.

Jeannine will be deeply missed by her sons, Carl K. "Chuck" Orne and his wife, Joanna of Norco, CA, Michael P. Orne, and Gerald W. Orne and his wife Elma all of Jacksonville, NC and Lawrence Orne and his wife, Diane of Leominster; her daughters, Patricia J. LeDoux and her husband, Kevin of Sterling, Kristina M. Orne of Athol, Theresa J. Reid of Jacksonville, NC, Julianna M. Orne and her significant other, Graham Quinn of Mattapoisett; her step-daughters, Deborah Reid, Patricia O'Brien, Nancy Fales and Susan Reid; her brother, Robert Tourigny and his wife, Rose of Onset; and her sister, Claire Turcotte of Sterling; 23 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jeannine was also predeceased by her son, Anthony R. Orne; her beloved sisters, Yvonne Lancaster, and Lorraine Tourigney; and three infant grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge St., Sterling. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Cecilia Parish, 170 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA 01453.
