LEICESTER - Jean Roslyn (Underhill) Bruso, 78, of Pleasant Street, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, in Abingdon, MD, after a brief illness.
Her husband of 33 years, Alvin R. Bruso died in 1986. She leaves a son, Keith A. Bruso and his wife Diane (Horrigan) of Abingdon, MD; two grandchildren, Connor and Kerry Bruso of Abingdon, MD; two brothers, Elwyn Underhill of Worcester, and Kenneth Underhill of CA; a sister, Shirley Benoit of Leicester; and several nieces and nephews; a sister Claudia Mason predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Henry and Una (Leno) Underhill, and lived many years in Leicester.
Mrs. Bruso was a waitress at Friendly’s Restaurant in Sturbridge for 19 years.
The funeral for Mrs. Bruso will be held on Saturday, February 11, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street,(Rte 122a), Holden, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 10, in the funeral home.
