Jean O. (Wentzell) Swenson

WORCESTER – Jean O. (Wentzell) Swenson, 70, of 11 Claridge Road, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Umass Memorial, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Robert A. Swenson; a son, Stephen R. Swenson of Worcester; a daughter, Linda J. Sliwoski of West Boylston; a brother, Robert Wentzell of Nashua, NH; three grandchildren, Justin R. and Kyle A. Sliwoski of West Boylston, and Courtney C. Swenson of Worcester. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Stanley and Olive (Schnare) Wentzell, and lived all of her life here. She graduated Commerce High School and worked eight years for Norton Company, both in Worcester.
Mrs. Swenson was a member of Greendale People’s Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
The funeral service for Mrs. Swenson will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2004, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Donations may be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Mass., Suite 12, 181 Park Avenue, West Springfield, 01089; or to Why Me Inc. Sherry House, 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester 01602.
