Jean M. (Kay) Peverett

AUBURN – Jean M. (Kay) Peverett, 90, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
Her husband, Arthur O. Peverett, died in 1988. She leaves a daughter-in-law, Joanna K. Peverett of Kennebunk, Maine; two grandsons, Peter A. Peverett of Millinocket, Maine, and Michael P. Peverett of North Berwick, Maine; a great-granddaughter. Her son, A. Willis Peverett, a brother, David Kay, and a sister, Alice Griffiths, predeceased her. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Worcester in 1925. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Worcester and active with the ladies circle.
The Funeral service for Mrs. Peverett will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. There are no calling hours.
