Jason N. Rimbach

September 6, 1977 — February 8, 2018

LEOMINSTER/STERLING – Jason N. Rimbach, 40, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Born in Concord, Jason was the son of Phillip N. Rimbach, Jr. and Cynthia J. (Major) Lapinskas and lived most of his life in Sterling before moving to Fitchburg and Leominster several years ago.
He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his mother, Cynthia J. Lapinskas and her husband, John of Orange; his father, Phillip N. Rimbach, Jr. and his wife, Gail of Ashburnham; his brother, Phillip R. Rimbach, and his wife Jaime of Gardner: two step-sisters, Heather Boudreau of Gardner and Heidi Perry of Leominster; his paternal grandparents, Nancy Warila of Hudson and Phillip Rimbach Sr. of Natick; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert Major and his wife, Carol of Acton.
Jason was a graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, class of 1995. He worked locally as an auto mechanic for several companies including  T&R Custom Automotive and Greenleaf Used Auto Parts, both in Leominster. His passions were riding and working on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, snowboarding with his brother, attending concerts with friends and video games. Jason enjoyed spending time with his family whether it be a holiday gatherings, chopping wood with his Dad or working as a carpenters assistant with his brother. He will be remembered for his kind and selfless nature, crazy antics and his sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jason’s family from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 12, at the Miles~ Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling, followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 7:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MOC Community Partnership for Children Parent Child Home Program, 601 River Street, Fitchburg MA 01420.
