Biography
RUTLAND – Jason E. Adams, 44, lifelong resident of Rutland passed away unexpectedly after an illness on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus. Jason was born in Worcester, a son of the late John and Nancy (Alty) Adams.Jason was a graduate of Wachusett High School. He started his work life at Norton Company in Worcester. Jason was then a dedicated and faithful employee for more than 21 years at One Stop Mini-Mart in Holden. He was a computer whiz and an avid gamer. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and photography.He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his brother, Joshua Adams and his wife, Kim of Hubbardston; his goddaughter, Hannah Onstott of Camp Hill, PA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Jason’s family from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, November 15 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street Holden. A funeral service honoring his life will follow at 7 pm. A private burial will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
