WORCESTER - Janice M. (Spadola) Laliberte, 76, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Monday, March 28, 2016. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Billi) Spadola and had graduated from Commerce High School in 1958.
She worked for more than 30 years at Central One Federal Credit Union in Shrewsbury and retired as a payroll administrator in 2002. Janice was devoted to her family, her community and was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was a member of the Beato-Angelo D’Acri Womans Club. She enjoyed bowling in the Auburn Seniors Bowling League, traveling and shopping, but “Nonnie’s” greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. She will be sadly missed.
Janice leaves her son, Chuck Laliberte and his wife, Chris of Rutland; two daughters, Linda Auen and Debbie Borowy her husband, Laurence Small, both of Leominster; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Aram Pothier and her brother, Donald Spadola.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Janice will be held on Friday, April 1, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. A private committal service will be held at a later date at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester.
