Janice (Carey) Grossman

WORCESTER – Janice (Carey) Grossman, age 81, died on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Holden Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
Her husband of 41 years, Dr. Herbert S. Grossman died in 2003. She leaves a daughter, Jody wife of Kenneth McLaughlin of Worcester and two grandchildren, Scott, and Alyssa McLaughlin. She was predeceased by her sister, Tobey Carey.
She was born in Framingham, the daughter of Samuel and Ann (Cotton) Carey and lived in Worcester for over 50 years.
She was a Medical Assistant in her husband’s practice of podiatry for many years.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Auburn under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
Immediately following the Interment, a Memorial Observance Reception will be held at the residence of Jody and Kenneth McLaughlin.
