HOLDEN – Janet Louise (Sundt) Eichholz, 83, of Holden, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
A daughter of the late Albert and Othellia (Breimon) Sundt, Janet was raised in Worcester and graduated from North High School. She moved to Holden 55 years ago where she and Douglas raised their family and became longtime active members of Chaffin’s Congregational Church. She enjoyed baking for their annual cookie and strawberry shortcake sales. Janet was a bank teller all of her life and once retired she started working the polls to keep up with the people of Holden. She was involved with her high school reunion committee and could often be found working in her garden.
Janet will be missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Douglas C. Eichholz; her daughter, Donna L. Eichholz of Holden; her son, Kurt D. Eichholz and his wife, Laurie, and their family of Worcester; her large extended family including her nephew Rick Sundt and his wife, Kim, of Lunenburg and her Boston Terrier, Lulu Belle. She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Sundt and her sister, Ruth Johnson.
