PAXTON – Janet N. (Storey) Palmer, 75, of 4 Rolling Ridge Lane died Monday, October 25, 2004 in her home.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, Francis J. Palmer, Jr.; two sons, Jeffrey A. Palmer and his wife Marie of Charlton and Neil F. Palmer and his wife Fely of Worcester; two sisters, Shirley Day of Spencer and Norma Karsberg of Holden; three grandchildren, Neil F. Palmer, Jr., Jillian and Zoe Palmer both of Charlton. A daughter, Linda S. Wylie and a brother, Len Storey predeceased her. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Frank and Ellen Storey and lived 37 years in Paxton.
Mrs. Palmer worked in the Payroll Department at Norton Company in Worcester for over 30 years retiring in 1985. She graduated from South High School in Worcester.
A public graveside service for Mrs. Palmer will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 28 in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. A private family visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
